I will be spending a lot of time in the kitchen this week doing one of my favorite things – baking Christmas cookies. I love baking and have enjoyed it since I made my first cookies when I was a little girl. My mother gave me free reign when it came to doing anything in the kitchen. As a working woman, she realized that anything I could do would lighten her load when it came to food prep. I might love baking, but Mr. Right and I are just two people, and we really will eat just a few cookies or candies that I make and the rest will become gifts from the kitchen for our neighbors. They all appreciate a good home-made treat, so, it will be a win-win for everyone. I searched through our files here at The 2 Seasons and found some recipes that would make great gifts when packaged up nicely. Perhaps you will find some time to make a gift or two for some of your neighbors, friends, or family. Be sure to put them in the proper containers so the presentation will be as lovely as what is inside.
