I loved the way Jordan’s house paint art turned out, and so I decided to give it a try myself. I haven’t hung it on the wall yet because I need some assistance from Mr. Right, but I couldn’t wait to share it with you.
I am just loving all of the color, and I am thrilled that my art teacher and classmates love it, too.
We are going to hang it here over the sofa, but first we need to remove an old jelly cabinet that hangs there now. That’s where Mr. Right comes into play.
I’m calling it Indian Waterfall, in honor of my recent trip to India.
The canvas is huge. It measures 36 x 48 inches. I thought you might appreciate its size by seeing it beside me. I’m 5 feet 8 inches tall. Now, here’s the disclaimer. Many people will call this home decor – not art. And I am fine with that. Whatever it is, I’m lovin’ it, and will hang it with pride. And if you would like to see my other paintings check them out here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.
The art work is very pretty good.
Sign that piece and hang it with pride! Love how your colors work with the room and there will always be that debate in the decorative painting world regarding art. I’m still amazed that in this process the colors seem to remain true and don’t go muddy. Love large art. Very nice Herald article 🙂
