Greetings, all! Since it’s our first post of the new month (already????), we are revisiting a popular little craft I made last year in honor of Valentine’s Day. It is easy to make, inexpensive, and cute. We call that a trifecta. Enjoy!
Most people have seen this famous image of LOVE. I think they even used it on a postage stamp at one point. Now I’ll teach you how to make a mini-version of this iconic sign.
The first step is to buy the cardboard letters (the size is up to you) at your local craft store. If you do not have red acrylic paint on hand, go ahead and buy some as well.
Paint away and make those letters red. You could spray paint them if you want, but it only took a few minutes to apply the acrylic with a sponge brush. I didn’t take a photo of the next step, but it is super easy. Get out your glue gun and arrange the letters the same way they are arranged in original LOVE art.
I was not sure if it would stand and be stable, but as of now (knock on wood) there are no issues.
That’s all there is to it. Don’t you just LOVE it?
