Hello, everyone. We want to start out by thanking our friend Rhoda at Southern Hospitality blog for sharing a tour of our home on her blog today. Be sure to stop by and show some love to Rhoda and see what she says about our townhouse.
Are you planning to watch the Super Bowl this week? Will you be watching with your family, or are you having a viewing party? Even if it’s just the two of us watching the big game, I always fix us some special foods. It’s just a way we keep things fresh in our marriage. We dug into our food archives and pulled out some recipes that are perfect super bowl foods. They’re perfect for a few or a house full. We hope you find a recipe or two that you can fix for your crew. And I hope your team wins. And as an aside, (and I don’t mean to offend anyone) I always cheer for the team that is playing against the Patriots. Happily, I won’t have to do that this year. Just click the links under the photos below to go directly to the recipe post.

Tarte Au Soleil

Pepperoni Rolls

Fiesta Taco Bowls

Maple Mustard Chicken

Creamy White Chicken Chili

Grandma’s Hot Dog Sauce

Earthquake Cake

No Bake Chocolate Eclair Cake

White Chip Orange Cookies

Banana Cake
We hope you can get some bowl foods menu ideas from this selection. These are all foods that can be made ahead of time with just a little bit of effort, and they will carry you through the game. They’re great if you are going to a pot luck or staying at home. And after looking at our selection, I think I will cook up some creamy white chicken chili and a banana cake. I will serve some veggies and dip and possibly some chips and dip, too. That sounds like a well-rounded game-day menu to me.
Take care.
