Despite coming home from vacation and seeing that our once lush yard had turned a dirty and sad brown, I still wanted to dress up our stoop for fall. After all, last year at this time, our front was a pile of dirt and mud, and there was not a pumpkin in sight. We don’t have a lot of space to play with so I kept our outdoor fall decor somewhat simple. I simply added this wreath, which we mentioned in our Saturday Selections, some mums, six pumpkins, and new evergreens for the planters. (The old ones died in the heat and drought.)
I couldn’t decide on which color of pumpkin I liked best, so I just picked a hodge podge. With the orange wreath and Sherwin Williams Naval (which happens to be their color of the year) front door, it all works.
I feel that the wreath is worth the money, and I will be able to get a few years of use out of it.
Nothing makes me happier than fall, and specifically October, so I am very happy to drive or walk past our front exterior and see the display.
Have you finished your fall decor yet?
Take care.
