Hi everyone! I have just a quick post today that took me less than five minutes to do, so I wanted to share. I was in Hobby Lobby the other day, and while I was looking at cute paper in the scrap book aisle, this one caught my eye. It gave me the idea that creating art from scrapbook paper would be a simple and fun project.
I thought how appropriate now that I am back in the South. I decided to frame it and create some instant art. Now, I could have created a fancy mat using this method, but I decided to get in touch with my zen side and go with peaceful white.
Our Hobby Lobby happens to be right beside Ikea (how convenient for me!!!) I had to make a return, and that return turned into my exploring the store and picking up a frame. They had these cute gold frames that I thought would spiff up the paper.
I hung my new scrapbook paper art beside our side entry door. When we are removing our shoes and hanging up our coats, we will see this happy piece.
If you ever are out and see a quote that might make instant art for your home, go for it!

Have you see the cute tray for keys etc. from Draper James– Reese Witherspoon’s Nashville/LA store?
