We have a short post today just to remind you of a great idea we showed in December when we wrote about this.
A way to add some sparkle to your fireplace when you aren’t using it this spring and summer is to paint the logs. Pick out colors in the room, and highlight those colors on the logs. Notice that not all of these logs are painted, but enough of them have color to make a statement.
As cute as this is, you should remove those painted logs before you light a fire next fall. Have fun with your paint colors. Let us know how it turns out.
This is such a cute idea and so fresh for spring. I even like the idea of just using neutral colors to add interest without making such a statement.
