You may be seeing a lot of pink around this October because it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Everyone I know has had someone close to them battle breast cancer. It is a horrible cancer that affects one in eight woman. My 90-year-old Grandma H. beat it just last year. This month Stella & Dot is pairing up with the Noreen Fraser Foundation , a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and creating awareness of the importance of early detection. Stella & Dot is donating 100 percent of the net profit of the bracelets below. I have been a Stella & Dot rep for almost two years, and it is a great company and a great part-time job. I am very proud to be associated with a company that fights for a cause.
This is the Inspire Bracelet. This bracelet is inspired by the strength and design of a braided rope. Shiny rose gold plating on a malleable brass bar with cutout rope detail sits atop a neutral metallic leather band. It easily adjusts to fit SM-LG wrists with buckle closure. The price is $39.00.
The strength bracelet is inspired by the power and loyalty of the elephant. Shiny gold plating on a malleable brass bar with cutout elephant detail sits atop a hot pink leather band. It adjusts to fit SM-LG wrists with buckle closure. It is $39.00. I have to say I heart this one because elephants remind me of Thailand. Our little one whom we are adopting is living there till he/she comes home with us.
These fun bracelets are a great way to shop for a cause. I am including the link to my site in hopes that we can earn some money for the Noreen Fraser Foundation. This is our third year partnering with them, and we have raised over $245,000 to date! We also have a necklace in the boutique as well.
This Hope Necklace reminds us of Hope. This is in sterling silver with 16 inch plus 2 inch extender on the chain. It sells for $39.00.

Noreen’s Top Five Prevention Tips.
1. Don’t be afraid to get to know your body- check your breast monthly.
2. Know your family history and follow guidelines for mammography and pap smear screenings for your age and rise, according to your doctor’s guidance.
3. Avoid known carcinogens in your daily environment.
4. Eat healthfully, organic as much as possible.
5. Exercise, even an easy minute 20 minute walk a day will make a difference!
If you have been diagnosed:
1. It’s important to get more than one opinion on your diagnosis and be as informed as possible about your choices of treatment.
2. Find a local support group either online or in your own community. You are not alone in this fight!
3. Our website has great resources and you can always reach out to Noreen directly through Noreen Fraser Foundation.
Great post! My own mother is a 30 year survivor of this horrible disease. Thank you making others aware of not only the disease but suggestions for what to do when and if diagnosed.
