Not long ago a few of us neighborhood gals got together for a bunko night. If you have never played bunko, it is fun and absolutely no skill is involved. Since the weather has been cold, we decided to dream of some warm weather, and we had Key Lime Pie Martinis. They were tasty.
KEY LIME PIE MARTINI
Serves 4
6 ounces of whip cream vodka (Yes, you read that right)!
3 ounces of simple syrup
1 lime
Ginger ale to top off drink
The first thing I did was rub the rim of the glass with lime just and dipped it into crushed up graham crackers to have a tasty rim on the drink.
Add the vodka, simple syrup and the juice of half a lime to a pitcher. (This can be done beforehand, and when guests arrive, put some the of the liquid in a shaker with ice and make each martini.)
Pour the shaker mixture into the martini glasses, and top off with ginger ale.
Sit back, and picture being in a hot climate.
