And Our Award Goes To

Yesterday, Alison over at The Polo House recognized us with the Liebster Award.  It is given to an up and coming blog with less than 300 followers.  We are thrilled that Alison felt we were worthy, and now it is our turn to pass the award on to some of the blogs we enjoy.  Jordan and I have each selected two of our favorite blogs to recognize.

Janette’s (Autumn’s) Choices

Your Other Big Brother (http://yourotherbigbrother2.blogspot.com/) – Now, this is far from a decorating blog, but it is a blog I hold dear because it is written by my son.  Cory is a company executive. But once a week, he volunteers as a part-time disc jockey at  WRFL, which is the University of Kentucky’s own station.  He is a very knowledgeable lover of music and will travel to Europe just to attend a concert.  He makes a once-a-week entry on his blog with his latest favortite song.  It  is always accompanied by background info about the group and a link to the video.  I couldn’t give this award and not recognize him.

Our Fifth House (http://ourfifthhouse.blogspot.com/) – This blog is written by a young, busy, and creative mom who also lives in Central Kentucky.  I recently found her blog and always enjoy seeing what she is up to.

Jordan’s (Spring’s) Choices

The Newly Woodwards (http://www.newlywoodwards.com/) –  Jordan likes to follow this blog because they are doing a whole-house remodeling project, and they are very hands-on and creative.  She realizes that they have a little over 300 followers but feels they deserve recognition for their fun blog.

Thrifty Little Blog – (http://www.thriftylittleblog.com/) – Jordan and Mr. Spring are approaching their first anniversary and have a “nothing but cash” philosophy.  Following this blog has helped Jordan get some great ideas on how to be a smart shopper, saver, and consumer.
