Hello from the Caribbean where our children, their spouses, the grands, and Mike and I are enjoying our annual pre-Christmas cruise. We wanted to hop on here quickly and tell you all about a show we are excited about. The popular Top Chef, which airs on Bravo every Thursday night at 10:00 filmed the current season in Kentucky. Some of the episodes were shot in Lexington, and we’re excited to see how it comes off. So many shows portray Kentucky in such a negative stereotypical way, and we don’t think that will be the case this time around. Tonight’s show was filmed at Maker’s Mark distillery, and we wrote a post about it last year. You can read it here.
You can bet there will be bourbon and horses this season. In fact, last week featured a Derby party. Lexington has gotten great press lately in the NY Times and the Washington Post. We are glad other people are learning why we love our town so much. So, if you are looking for something to do on Thursday nights this winter, check out Top Chef.
Take care!
It is such fun to see The Blue Grass shine⭐️
