When we published this post a few weeks ago, you saw the new bench that I bought for the upstairs hallway. I was wondering if the new bench would work under the dining room table, but you all voted no. Thanks for your input. I listened to you and stuck with my original plan which was to paint the bench white and put it in the hallway.
This bench and mirror are right at the top of the stairs. There have been several different looks in this spot over the years, but right now I want something white to match the linen cabinet. It’s a simple little way to add some color and cheer to an empty space. It’s funny how some simple little changes can sure improve the look of something.
