Make some hot chocolate using this syrup and then top it with some marshmallows or whipped cream, and life doesn’t get much better. To give it a Christmas touch, add a candy cane for stirring. It’s the little things. Right?
Easy Homemade Chocolate Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- Dash of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Combine the first four ingredients in a medium pan, and cook stirring constantly till it begins to simmer and thicken. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Let cool before using.
- Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
