If you are a fan of pesto, then you will love this recipe. I made it with the homemade pesto I prepared using the basil in our herb garden, but it can just as easily be made using store-bought pesto. This pesto monkey bread would be perfect with a pasta dish, with a bowl of tomato soup, or just as a snack or appetizer. It would also be great for tailgating. Oh, and I should mention that it is super easy because you use biscuit dough from the dairy section of your grocery. It is a win-win in every way, and I think you will really like it.

Pesto Monkey Bread
      Ingredients
- I cup or 1 jar pesto (can be homemade or store bought)
 - 2 cans biscuits (I used Pillsbury Grands)
 - 1/2 cup butter
 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1 teaspoon chopped onion
 - 1 teaspoon parsley
 - 1 teaspoon dried basil (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
 - Spray a bundt cake pan with cooking spray
 - Melt 1/2 cup butter and stir in garlic powder, chopped onion, parsley and basil.
 - Open biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
 - Flatten each biscuit piece and add 1/2 teaspoon (or less) pesto. Form a dough ball around the pesto and dip it into the butter mixture.
 - Place in the bundt pan.
 - Continue this process until all of the biscuits are in the pan.
 - Bake for 30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and invert onto a serving dish.
 - Can be served warm or cold. Leftovers can be frozen.
