Hi everyone. Mom and I have been publishing a recipe on Fridays for almost the entire five years that we have been writing our blog. We have quite a few stored away in the archives, and we thought it might be good to pull out some for you that you might like to serve this coming week-end. They are all good summer recipes, but that doesn’t mean you can’t serve them any other time of the year. We hope you enjoy these great July 4th recipes to make for your friends and family.
Gazpacho is a great cold soup to serve on a hot day. This one is packed with flavor. You can make it ahead using ingredients from your garden or the farmers’ market, and it will be ready to serve when you’re ready to eat it.
This chicken salad would be really tasty paired with the gazpacho.
Grandma’s hot dog sauce is our most “pinned” recipe ever. If you are planning to grill some hot dogs this week-end, then you need to make this sauce to go on top of them.
This roasted tomato caprese salad will take advantage of fresh basil and tomatoes that are growing so abundantly right now.
Fresh peach salad is one of my all-time favorite recipes we have shared with y’all.
Although there’s no magic involved, this no-mess corn on the cob is magical and a delicious way to prepare the popular summer veggie.
Mom and I agree that this is the best barbequed chicken we have ever eaten.
We can’t forget the beverages. This is the most pinned alcoholic beverage we have ever published, and if you make it, you’ll understand why.
If you need a great dessert that will feed a crowd and is easy to make, these orange brownies are it. They are great by themselves or topped with ice cream.
