Hi, everyone! Mom has been in Florida for the past 10 days bicycling with my dad, and so, I’ve taken over the recipe post for today. Since it is almost strawberry season, we thought it would be good for me to put together a recipe post highlighting strawberry recipes to try now. Some of the photos are not so great, because we ran them in the early days of our blog when we didn’t have a clue about how to take a good photo. That being said, the recipes are definitely delicious and worthy of your time and effort. Enjoy!
This strawberry soup recipe is perfect for your friends when you serve a fancy lunch at your house. On the other hand, it’s a great way to get your kids to eat something nourishing without even realizing it. Just tell them it’s melted ice cream ’cause that’s what it looks like and tastes like, yet it’s low cal.
There’s everything to love about this strawberry salad that combines strawberries, peas, almonds, and greens. All we can say is a big old healthy, “Yum!”
Just like my mom, I always enjoy a good cup of tea. These strawberry scones have a touch of lime and are the perfect treat to munch on while I’m sipping the tea. These are also paleo friendly.
And finally, it’s almost rhubarb season, too. This cobbler combines strawberries and rhubarb that come together to make a mouth watering dessert.
