Hello everyone. I am having so much fun each month changing the small vignette in the foyer. Using holidays as my inspiration makes it easy. That being said, you’ve probably already guessed that the theme this month is green as in St. Patrick’s Day.
It was easy to pull some green books from the shelves, buy some green flowers at the grocery and put them in a pitcher I picked up on a recent trip to IKEA and add a green tole tray that was also on the shelves. Once St. Patrick’s Day has come and gone, I might add a few pastel-colored books, some pastel flowers, and colored eggs and switch it up for Easter for the last two weeks of the month.
I love all of the greens together.
And the best thing is that everything still blends with the Turkish antique kilim rug………
…….and the new kilim runner. I have been looking for a kilim runner for several years, and after painting the foyer, I made it a priority. This one is a beauty.
Jordan and Yankee have gone on a “baby moon” so I am solo on the blog this week. They have flown to Iceland to enjoy the Northern Lights before Little Miss’s arrival. I sure hope they are having a wonderful trip. She wrote a few posts before she left, and they’ll appear later this week.
Take care.
