When we had our rustic shelves added to our white kitchen in June, I didn’t know how much fun they would be to accessorize, but they are. They’re the perfect blank canvas of 150 year old wood teamed with new, but distressed, brackets. To get a fall look out of them, I just had to add a few things and take away a few things. Fall perfection is now what I have.
I pulled out our brown transferware, and put it where blue and white dishes were for the summer. And then a pumpkin took a spot on the lowest shelf.
The little rosemary plant, which was a cute wedding favor, and a new/old French demijohn add more texture and color.
I also switched out a flow blue platter for the rectangular ironstone platter.
Miss Samantha’s colors are also great in this fall setting.
It’s sort of like playing with Barbie’s doll house. I get to easily move things on and move things off. Except my doll house shelves don’t come with a Ken.
Thanks for stopping in.
