Hello, everyone. This week-end gave a reason why the name of our blog, The 2 Seasons, is a good one. Jordan went snow skiing with her husband, and it was warm enough here in Kentucky for bicycling. One of our claims to fame is that we live in two very different parts of the country. Last week when I wrote about Diane Keaton, I mentioned that I would share photos of the antique and garden portion of the Nashville Antique and Garden show. (By the way, these photos are all from the iphone.) So, here goes…..
There were thousands of things to buy, but let’s start with a wooden dress made out of slats. We all need one!!
Antique pottery…..
Art…..
Blue and white…..
Staffordshire….
Majolica…..
French antiques…..
Upholstered pieces…..
Whimsical pieces…..
More whimsy…..
Flowers…..
Mantels…..
Urns…..
And, of course, the gypsy wagon that I showed you last week. The show had 150 dealers selling top quality items. I didn’t buy a thing, which was a relief, actually. I loved looking but didn’t feel compelled to buy. The Bluegrass Trust Antique Show, which is held every March here in Lexington, is a good one. If you are in the area, check it out. In fact, some of the same dealers attend both shows.
I am excited to be having lunch with Jessica from Mom 4 Real today. It’s always fun to catch up with her. Make it a good one, everybody!!!
