A Day in Our Lives

Monday afternoon Mr. Right and I are hopping on a plane, and our final destination will be Syracuse where Jordan and Yankee will host Thanksgiving for us and other family members.  I’m squealing with delight!!!  During her visit here a few weeks ago, we took some iphone shots of a typical day for us when she visits Lexington.  Granted, this is not going to get us our own reality show (we really don’t want one) because we are just not that exciting.  This is just a typical day for us together.

 

I work out at the “Y” at 6 a.m. most weekday mornings, and Jordan often comes with me when she visits.  We took this selfie post-workout.

 

 

 

We had lots of errands to run but first we stopped off at National Patisserie for breakfast.

 

Jordan added something to our Instagram site while we were there.

 

We did lots of shopping which included a stop at Thoroughbred Antiques to visit our friend Kim’s shop.

 

 

Jordan took care of some blog business and then we went on to the fun stuff…….

 

…..We started rearranging furniture.  Since our new dining table arrived, we are making some changes in the great room.  Jordan’s help was invaluable.

 

 

It felt really great to move furniture, and we celebrated with a great meal before we settled down to some of our favorite, trashy television.  We didn’t have any major projects to take care of during this visit, so it was fun to just do what we wanted to do while spending some quality mother/daughter time together.
