Maybe that headline should say what is the best paint color? Last week when I made our big announcement, I said we weren’t going to start the room for a while. Well, Mom wants to paint her guest room, and I decided to hop on board and go ahead and paint our future child’s room.
I guess that means I am making a mini-start on the space. We thought it would be interesting (to us, at least) to use the same paint color on both of our projects even though we are hundreds of miles apart. It will be fun to see how one color looks in the two different spaces. Our room faces the west, and her room faces the east. Her room right now is a bright yellow, and our room is a deep gold.

This is how far we have gotten…….And here’s a total disclaimer: These paint swatches all look much, much, much lighter in person than they do on your computer screen. Mostly, they are varying shades of light neutral. Stay tuned. We will have one picked out in no time at all. Oh, and I should tell you that we are both going to use our favorite brand of paint (they’re not the same) and have the same color mixed by the two different brands.
