It seems as if everyone is ready for spring, and since we are going to finally hit the 60’s this week, I finally feel like it is time for me to start some spring decorating. I saw a cute bunny table runner from Kelly over at Eclectically Vintage and decided to make one .
This runner is easy to make, and I am very happy with the Easter feel my table now has for spring.
I bought a burlap runner. I also found this cute bunny stencil and knew it would be perfect for the runner. I also picked up some brown craft paint and white yarn for the tails.
I placed the bunny on the burlap and started to stencil. I moved it down to the next spot and did the same thing. This was the fastest stencil project.
I used white yarn to make make some pom poms for the tails. I have not made pom poms since elementary school, so I needed a refresher. Here is a great how-to on making pom poms. Once I made them, I used my hot glue gun and glued the tails to the end of the bunnies.
When it was finished, I just had some fun setting a table with the runner and some spring-like dishes from my grandmother.
I even have little bunny napkin holders.
This photo just says spring to me. I hope you are having spring-like weather where you live.
