Hello from Syracuse where it is F.R.E.E.Z.I.N.G. I landed this morning, and already Jordan and I have been out gathering supplies for our first project. Now I am wrapped up in a blanket in front of the fireplace getting warmed up. She just informed me that it looks as if we will be getting a big pile of snow tonight. So, with Gracie at my side, I will attempt to write this post.
I wanted to share with you the latest additions to our great room that add a pop of fun to the mix. My friend gave me this adorable Pottery Barn pillow for Christmas, and it fits me to a tee. You all know I love bicycling all over the world, and I’m a big fan of Paris (here, here, and here).
She said when she saw it, she knew it was the perfect gift for me, and her instincts were right.
You can’t have too much of a good thing, right? So, when I saw this burlap pillow on Joss and Main, I jumped on it. I knew it would be the perfect playmate for the first pillow, and since I had a J & M credit burning a hole in my pockets, all the stars were in line. Doesn’t it look great with the paisley pillows I made in December?
The texture is good, and the brown tones bring out the browns in the paisley. That’s another reason why I love that paisley fabric. It has practically every color in the rainbow in it.
The bike’s vintage style is very similar to the new townie I received from Mr. Autumn last summer. That’s another reason to love this pillow.
I think this summer the new pillows will move to our sunroom, but for now they are staying warm and cozy in the great room.

Take care.

I love the bicycle pillows…they are both perfect with your decor. The red is what I would choose to go with this decor…the turquoise is the unexpected! I love the contrast! Beautiful! Stay warm!
Beautiful pillow! love the bicycle!
You’re bicycle pillows are just darling! Your friend is a great gift picker!

Oh what a great pillow. I can see why she chose it for you! Sounds like you and Gracie are in the perfect spot. There is nothing like warming up in front of a fireplace.Looking forward to seeing the projects you all will be doing!!
Your friend chose well- what a neat pillow. I love all your pops of color on the sofa. I wish I had gone with a neutral sofa so I could change out my looks with things like pillows! Michigan is in a deep freeze…6 degrees this morning. Snow comes and goes all winter here. It’s not much fun in a city though where they haven’t got enough room for all the snow removal with cars and public transporatioin in constant motion! We lived in Chicago for a while and realized how hard it is for them to get things cleaned up.
Your friend must be a sweetie – and a friend who knows you very well.
I like the fabric on the fireside chair very much. Could you tell me who makes it? I’ve noticed it in a few photos. Thank you!
The chair fabric is by Brusnwig-Fils, but I’ve had it on the chairs for around 10 years. I’m looking for a new fabric replacement.
Love the pillows and how so appropriate for your love of cycling and all things Paris! It is cold here in NC too…but no snow…just bright and sunny!
Great pillows! Just perfect for someone who love cycling. It’s cold here, but no where near what you’re experiencing. Popping over from Savvy Southern Style’s Wow Us Wednesday.

I love your bike…it is beautiful! I might get more exercise with one. Are they very expensive?

I actuallywill probably wind up being back again more regularly.
Thanks ,Stella
