Thanks to chalk paint, which has now been around for a while, I have been able to take some little wooden plaques and put them to good use.
I really like using chalk board spray paint.
Ever heard of a blank slate????? These little wooden plaques are available in different sizes at most craft stores, and when sprayed, turn into mini chalk boards.
They work great for labeling different food on a buffet table when we are entertaining.
And they come in handy when we need place cards.
They really come in handy when we want our guests to feel comfortable in the kitchen.
Gracie has nothing to do with this blog, but she is just so cute that I had to share this photo. She is in her “I’m the perfect pet” pose.

That Gracie is adorable…I think she is saying, “good job mom”….I love the plaques…I am going to copy cat that idea for my next luncheon…!
Loved the chalk boards and loved the dog even more. You are right, he is too cute and perfect. Not sure I get it, Can you spray any wood with the Krylon Chalkboard paint? Can you wipe off and redo or is it permanent. At any rate a great idea.

I am pretty sure you can do any wood. It has worked for me so far!
Cheers
It’s so weird….so far myself and two other blogs have posted something about chalkboards today! Is there some Vulcan mind meld thing with bloggers? LOL I agree, chalkboard paint is so versatile!
