Hello, everyone. I arrived home from Jordan’s last evening and am ready to hunker down. I truly believe this will only work if we all do what we are supposed to. I’m hoping we Americans can dig down and find our patience and understanding. Jordan and I thought we would just write a list of things that we can do when we can’t go out. Of course, we know that you all have tons of ideas, too. Please add them in the comments so we can all see them. This will take team work. So, here we go:
Do Youtube yoga or an exercise class on Youtube.
Pull some weeds.
Do a craft you have been wanting to do.
Power wash something, and get it ready for summer. We use this one.
Freshen up your outdoor furniture with spray paint or with a good wash.
Paint a room.
Stencil a room or a wall.
Make some pillows.
Work a puzzle.
Wash the windows.
Organize your photos.
Clean the kitchen cabinets and drawers.
Spring clean.
Organize your closets.
Take a class online.
Sew something.
Start a hobby.
Read a book. We loved this one.
Work a crossword puzzle.
Plan the meals you can make with the food you have on hand.
Call a friend.
Write a letter.
Iron some clothes.
Paint a piece of furniture.
Clean your heating vents.
Bake something – bread, cookies, cake.
Do your nails.
Give yourself a facial.
Start some seeds for a flower or vegetable garden.
Watch an old movie.
Decoupage something.
Polish your silver.
Binge watch a Netflix series.
Ride a bicycle.
Play a musical instrument.
Play solitaire.
Take a walk.
Complete The Book Of Me.
Listen to a podcast.
Meditate.
Open an Instagram account, and follow us.
Okay, friends. That’s our list. Now it’s your turn. Please add your suggestions in the comments. And please stay healthy.
Take care and Cheers!

I’m baking a cake and power-washing my driveway. The driveway should take several days and then I will start on my back porch. Next on my list is washing my windows and planting a little more color in my flower beds. These are all things I like having done around my house but don’t especially enjoy doing them. Now, I have no excuse because I have no errands to run. I’m trying to take advantage of our nice weather right now. Living in south Louisiana, the nice weather doesn’t last long. Before we know it we will have hot and muggy weather until mid-September.

Since I have to telework from home, I need to create a office space. Also, since we are moving, my husband backed the enclosed trailer up to the house and we are packing.

I’m going through EVERYTHING upstairs, in closets and under beds!!! I’m on my 10th day and not even near finished. So many photos scattered in packages, boxes and albums!
So much precious genealogy to file safely too!!! I worked years on it back in the 1980s.
The worst of it is, I hardly got rid of anythingso all is still here, but at least in much better arrangement.
After all this is finished, if ever, I can clean everything up here!
My kids call the upstairs my playroom where I go to play with my “toys”. LOLOL. But what is sad is that it’s TRUE❣️

Go get ’em, girl! Love you, Linda.
