Welcome to the World, Baby Girl

Friends…..this has been a busy week.  We have a new member of our family, and we are all so in love.  Our second granddaughter was born Sunday in Washington, DC.  We received a phone call at 3:30 Sunday morning and learned that labor had started.  I was able to catch a 7:15 a.m. flight out of here, and I made it to the hospital in plenty of time for the birth.  What a miracle worker the human body is.  So, we wanted to interrupt (again) the regular program here on the blog to welcome Baby Girl into the world.

I am back in Lexington after a whirlwind trip to DC, and things are happening here on the home front.  This is a busy January, and we can’t wait to give you updates on the Fixer Upper, the townhouse and everything else.
