Now that we have our girly girl, I have found that it is so much fun to dress her up. She loves a tutu (what girl doesn’t?) When I was running some errands, I walked past a cute pink tutu and, I knew I could use it to easily make a DIY Valentine tutu outfit for our Little Miss.
The tutu was just a few dollars, and I also bought a plain white long sleeved tee shirt.
I decided that I could use my Silhouette Cameo and make the word “Love” plus a heart. I got my Silhouette Cameo three years ago as a Christmas gift, and I had such a love/hate relationship with the machine. After a few bad cuts I was over it and put it away in a closet. A year later, I pulled it back out and decided it was time to heal this relationship. So, I called customer service, and they were AMAZING. Why did it take me so long to call them? They had me back up and running, and now I can’t stop. I am loving this machine so much. I am doing all sorts of things, but right now my favorite is using heat transfer vinyl to upgrade plain Little Miss shirts.
The first thing I did was download the word “Love.” Here, the magic is happening. Seriously, why did it take me so long to really start using this machine? Then I used pink paper and cut out the word. Then I cut out a silver sparkle heart.
After the cuts, I ironed on the word. You can see it here. Next I ironed on the heart.
Simple and sweet.
I thought I would pair her outfit with these sparkle shoes. that light up. They were a gift from my mom, and Little Miss loves to stomp and light them up. They are called twinkle toes which I think is perfect.
Pink, a tutu, and sparkles. It’s everything my little lady loves.
Cheers!
