Good morning, everyone. We have spent a lot of time with family lately. Yankee, Little Miss, and I went to a family reunion for my mother’s side of the family a few weeks ago. We all stayed at Grandma and Grandad R’s house, and as usual, Grandma’s garden was looking good. It always thrills her when we take photos for the blog, and we (and Grandma) are happy to share them with you today. Grandma is 89 years old, and she spends several hours a day from spring till late fall working and fretting about her flowers. Every time we talk to her on the phone, her flowers enter the conversation. She is so proud of her garden, and she should be. Enjoy the mini tour.
We hope you enjoyed our the tour. Thank you so much for sharing part of your day with us.

Love this post. The garden is beautiful.
Don’t love the constant pop up of ads in the post as you scroll down it (using an iPad). I wouldn’t mind if they appeared to the right of the post, but they pop up right in the middle of the post. And the x to clear oit is so small, you end up opening the ad instead. I don’t know if other are having this problem, but it is a little annoying. As I have said in the past, I really enjoy reading the blog.

Hi Kim,
Ohhh I want to make sure we do not have ads pop up in the middle. We have added some on the sides but I agree the middle is annoying. I will see what can be done about that ad. As for the others we plan to keep as they help support the cost of running the blog. Thanks so much for reading.

Lovely gardens! Your grandma is amazing, and I can see you and your mom heading in her direction, with all your energy. Thanks for sharing this spot of beauty with us.

Beautiful. So much work, she should be proud. My youngest (20) started gardening this summer at my house and found out how hard but I hope she keeps it up, my yard looks great. Nothing like your grandmothers of course.

So beautiful; you can tell she has a passion for gardening! She’s an 89 year-old inspiration! I’m sure she’ll be thrilled to be the topic of your blog today! (Also getting ads on the left side that run into the text.) Enjoy reading your blog every day!
Jordan says
Sorry about the ads, Bonnie. We don’t like them either, but they help pay for the blog.
Bonnie says
I don’t mind clicking out of them, Jordan! Just an FYI, as you seemed concerned in an earlier response! Certainly doesn’t take away from your posts! :>)) You and your mom do a great job!

I always enjoy seeing a fellow gardener’s efforts pay off so well! Your grandmother has a lovely home. I’m sure you’re so proud of her. My grandparents always enjoyed gardening and I loved having them give me a little walk-about tour whenever I visited.
