Good Monday morning, everyone. Jordan is here in Lexington, and we had the best week-end. We did a fun 5 k walk on Saturday morning and met a VIP. Then we had a couple over for drinks, went to a party, entertained with brunch, went to a movie, went out to dinner, and I got to spend some quality time with Mr. Right who just got back from Africa. We have a full schedule for the rest of the time she is here and are having a ball.
Our sun room is a fun little space to decorate according to the season. Once again this year, I went with the plaids to give it a farm house/north woods look and feel. You can’t go wrong with plaids in my book, and if they happen to be flannel, it’s even better. Come see how it looks.
Even though I want it to be cold in December, this warm weather makes it possible to spend some time just enjoying the sun room without freezing. It’s a three-season room that doesn’t have heat or air conditioning. Thanks to Mother Nature, though, it is a four-seasons room right now for The 2 Seasons.
Thanks so much for stopping in. We will see you tomorrow.
Your holiday activities sound like so much fun! Speaking of fun, I, too, am a flannel plaid fan — I’ve been to Jo Ann’s twice this season to get said flannel plaid. Many pillows ensued!
I love your selection of throw pillows with the Nutcrackers! So cozy!
Maureen, thank you. Those nutcrackers came from my mother.
Your sunroom is just perfect, not to mention festive. And how great that Jordon could come up to Ky. You all look great in your pic! Did you chat with Santa about any special requests? Ha. Sheila
Thank you, Sheila. Santa was a busy boy that day, and didn’t have time to chat.
What a cozy room! It looks like a lovely place to drink coffee in the morning. It’s not cold where I live yet either, and I’m loving it!
Your sunroom is quite the cozy little spot there, Thank you for sharing this pretty Holiday space and joining the 12 Days of Christmas Link Party! Merry Christmas to you both and your families!
