Greetings all!!! This isn’t a sexy post (as if we write sexy posts!), but it’s an important one. Are you carrying home more than your groceries when you bag your food in reusable totes? A study conducted by the University of Arizona and Loma Linda University found that 97 per cent of us do not wash our shopping bags after using them.
Also, they learned that we do not use separate bags for our raw meats and vegetables. What does this mean? It means that we are exposing our families and ourselves to horrible forms of bacteria including coliform and e coli. For more information about the study, go here.
