Top of the mornin, to you!!! Since Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day, we have just a quicky little post today to show you a cute/old post card that I found in my stash.
Here’s the thing: This could be a Valentine’s Day card. I’m not sure. The message says, “Hearty Greeting.”, and there is a teeny tiny red heart. Also, the blue flowers are in the shape of a heart – sort of. However, and this is a big however, those blue flowers speak spring to me, and the shamrocks are definitely a St. Patrick’s Day symbol.
So, since this is my party, and I can cry do what I want to, I’m calling it a St. Patrick’s Day post card.
I checked the postmark thinking that it would confirm what kind of card this is. However, it was dated June 15, 1907. So, maybe it is neither a Valentine nor a St. Patrick’s Day greeting. Maybe it’s just a post card.
