My husband works from home. I mean he really works from home with files, and boxes, and mail, and files, and papers, and contracts, and more files, and office stuff. As much as I would love it to, his office is never going to appear in a magazine. In fact, I have kept it pretty much hidden from the blog world with only controlled photos (here). However, today you are almost going to see the full monty.
This is the view he has from behind his desk. The room has major windows that looks out onto the park and a nice set of French doors that we added when we remodeled before moving in almost two years ago. Those doors open onto the foyer. What that means is that whenever we have guests, the first room they see is Mr. Autumn’s working man’s office. Whomp, whomp.
About a year ago, my friend Carolyn suggested we add some pleated shades to the doors so we can easily lower the shades when we don’t want any peeping guests. I told my husband her suggestion, and it went unnoticed. And then guess what!!!! A few weeks ago he had a great idea!!!!!! How about we put up some shades so we can close them when we have guests! I looked at him and smiled and told him he was/is a genius. And then I headed to Lowe’s and bought the shades. Privacy, at last.

HA! You are so funny! You planted a great seed.
Don’t you love how the men come up with these brilliant ideas? Your house looks like a texas house. Our home is set up very much like yours. Don’t have to worry tho… I married a Felix Unger which can be equally annoying in other ways.
That is so cute! From the pictures his office looks really nice.
