When we registered for our wedding gifts, we thought it would be fun to have a fondue pot to have parties. We have loved having it, and we have had many fondue nights with friends and now family. My family was in town not long ago, and I decided it would be fun to have a fondue party.
Here is table is set for the first course.
This is perfect to use the smaller clear plates and the paper underneath. You can read all about how to do it here.
I love the fall napkin rings. I bought these after Christmas last year at Bed Bath and Beyond. They were practically free they were so deeply discounted!
We decided not to do the typical cheese fondue. This is a cheese variation. For this course we dipped bread, apples, celery, and carrots.
Here is a close up of the Cuisinart fondue pot.
For the second course we made a broth fondue. We cooked steak, chicken, shrimp and a variety of vegetables.
The final course was a chocolate orange fondue from the Barefoot Contessa. We all were having so much fun we forgot to take photos. Here are a few things we dipped in the chocolate, plus we also had strawberries.

Fondue does make for a fun dinner, doesn’t it? How great that Cuisinart added a lip on the pot and little notches for the forks. Love your fall colors and napkin rings. Great choices on the different courses. Everything looks delicious!
A useful and healthy idea!
We’ve had our fondue pots ever since our wedding, too…43 years ago! I stll pull them out every once in awile…very 60’s. I even have a great fondue cook book that we bought in Sonoma Valley. Thank you for inviting us for a peak at your beautiful design. Cherry Kay

Sorry I accidentally posted my previous comment on the wrong post! After seeing this post I am now wanting a fondue pot. All of this looks amazing! That broth looks so delicious and I would have never thought to try the pot that way. Great idea!! Also your table looks great.
