It has been a long time since we had a Tuesday Thoughts here on the blog, so Mom and I decided today would be a good one. She arrived home Saturday night, tired but very happy with her accomplishment.
In case you didn’t see this photo on Instagram, it is in front of the cathedral in Santiago, Spain which is the end of the El Camino de Santiago. Thanks to all of you who followed her on Instastories and who sent in questions for her to answer. She will be writing a post about her trip soon. She’s wearing the hat that we wrote about here.
We are both using Southern Heather’s wardrobe suggestions this month. It helps on those days that you have “nothing to wear.” Go here for the behind the scenes details.
The kids and I will be meeting up with Mom at my grandparents’ house this weekend, and we are taking this fall foliage train trip. We know that Google will LOVE every minute of it. He loves anything with a motor.
As a treat for hiking 200 miles, Mom treated herself to this hair dryer. She used mine when she was here for Little Miss’s birthday and liked it so much that she bought one for herself. It would make a great Christmas gift for practically anyone who washes their hair.
Someone in my book club raved about this book. I just ordered it and can’t wait to try it out.
I have always loved Katie Couric. She now has a newsletter called Wake-Up Call that will arrive right in your email with a quick overview of the world news. If you don’t have time to sit down and read the whole paper, this keeps you in the loop. I love it for my busy mornings.
Our neighborhood goes crazy for Halloween. I hang some witches hats and this year I added these bats and banner. The kids love it.
