Dear Friends,
We are back from our annual family cruise, but we haven’t had time to put a post together for today. As far as our trip goes, we took very few photos. It was nice to be “in the moment.” There was a touch of drama, though. Because of delayed flights, Mom and Dad made it to the ship in Miami just minutes before we sailed. However, their luggage did not. They had to “make do” until Wednesday evening when their bags finally arrived. If you follow us on Instagram, then you saw the photo that Mom posted.on our Instastories. (I think it was the only one she took all week.) The ship gave them each a tee shirt and offered free express laundry. Delta gave them a shopping voucher, but the ship’s store had very little appropriate clothes for them. Luckily, my sister-in-law and I were able to help out with Mom’s wardrobe. They were good sports about it and didn’t let it interfere with the fun we had. They just enjoyed being with their little granddaughters and the rest of the family.
