Sheepskin Stools have won my approval. I thought I would pop in to share a small update in our living room. I have been wanting to add some more texture to our room and have been eyeing sheepskin stools.
I actually was going to make my own, and then my sister-in-law asked if I wanted her two sheepskin stools because they weren’t working for her. Yes, please.
Great Little Seats
I have them in front of the fireplace, and I love the look they have added to the room. The texture is a great addition. Plus, they have become very practical. Little Miss likes to pull one over to the coffee table when we play Candy Land or Old Maid. (This is off topic, but I just learned the game Old Maid is now not politically correct. I say #givemeabreak). They are the perfect size for her. She also likes to sit on them where they are located and pretend she is waiting for the bus. So, they are also her bus stop. LOL Oh, the things they come up with.
Great Ottomans
One can also serve as a great ottoman when someone is sitting in the green chair. So, if you are looking to add some texture to a room, perhaps you might look into some sheepskin stools. My sister-in-law originally found them on Craigslist, but here are some similar styles.
Some Sheepskin Stools for You to Consider
The style vary slightly. For instance this sheepskin stool has modern lines and a brass frame.
This one has a more traditional look.
I actually saw this one at Michael’s craft store the other day.
This one is pricey, but ooh it is a beauty.
Well, there you go – a little addition to the living room that provide texture, softness, seating, and a place to prop up our feet. I really love this room, the colors, and how it shows our personalities in our home.
Cheers!
