Hello, everyone. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday, and it kicks off the Christmas season for us. Since Mr. Right is riding his bicycle in New Zealand this month, I took the family to Williamsburg, VA for the holiday, and we had such a fun time. I rented a three bedroom condo with a fireplace at the beautiful Kingsmill Resort. The fireplace was woodburning, and since we have gas fireplaces in our homes, the crackling wood and the scent of the burning logs was such a treat. The weather was perfect, and it couldn’t have been a better week-end. The historic homes of Williamsburg were decorated for Christmas, and we are so happy to share the photos with you to. This post will be heavy on photos and light on words, but that’s okay. Tomorrow we are going to have a post on just the wreaths hanging on their doors. Luckily, there’s still time for you to use them as inspiration in your own homes.
I took my first trip to Williamsburg with my parents when I was a little girl, and it left quite an impression on me. Since then I have been back again and again, and it still is fascinating. Williamsburg is for the young and old. There’s something for everyone. We had such a wonderful time, and I am so happy that I was able to enjoy it once again.
Take care.
