As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I was truly impressed with the landscaping along Michigan Avenue (the Magnificent Mile) in Chicago. They created great landscaping accessories using rocks. It would be so easy for any homeowner to reproduce. Not only was it cute, but it wouldn’t break the bank either.
You can see it in this photo. There’s a dragon fly, and some beetles made from rocks. I don’t know why, but I didn’t get a close-up of the beetles.
But I took two of the dragon flies.
I don’t think this would be too hard for you DIY experts out there. I’m sure you would know how to do the cuts.
They also used spheres.
I love this look.
Okay, that’s it for today. We are keeping the grand dog for two weeks, and she is full (I should say FULL) of energy. I am headed out to take her for a walk and then to the dog park. Hopefully, it will make her tired and sleepy. (;
