Hi all!! It seems as if this is the week of household hints here at The 2 Seasons. I did a some closet organizing recently, and I thought you might be able to use my little technique in your own home.
I have a nice customized closet, but since Jordan has been selling Stella and Dot jewelry, I have been buying some really cute necklaces and earrings. I was keeping them in those colorful boxes on the shelf there, but I didn’t know which necklace was in which box. I decided to take advantage of some of my unused closet real estate.
I bought a bunch of small stick-on hooks, and attached them to the side of my tall dresser. I pressed on four per row and went from the top to the bottom of the dresser.
Because jewelry is light-weight, I used a small strip size. I think it holds five ounces or so.
I don’t wear a lot of dangling earrings, but for the few pairs that I do have, I added the strips to another part of the dresser. Now most of my jewelry is easy to find, and I don’t forget about a certain piece because it is stuck away in a box. Have you tried any closet organizing lately?
