As soon as I returned to the USA after my two-week bicycling trip in Belgium and the Netherlands, I wrote a quick post with a few photos in it. I already showed you my souvenir here. Now that I have actually taken the time to really look at my photos and edit them, I wanted to share just a few more lovelies with you.
This is the city hall in the square in Antwerp. I saw a bride and groom ride their bicycles to their wedding that took place inside. She was in a cute white dress with blue heels and purse, and he wore a suit. Riding their bikes to this big event was just what they do.
When traveling in the Netherlands, you have to take photos of windmills!!! As you can see we had perfect weather every single day. Thanks, Mother Nature!!!
No one can do flowers like the Dutch. I loved this against the backdrop of the blue door.
This reminded me of the statue in the Garden of Good and Evil.
How cute is this????
We visited a greenhouse for strawberries, and they had portable bee hives in boxes. I thought that was so clever.
I loved the way these succulents were planted.
Lavendar and brick look beautiful together.
I stayed in a bed and breakfast the second week and ate breakfast overlooking a beautiful garden each morning.
You are so lucky to enjoy all these beautiful sites by bike. Great shots.
Windmills, lavender and beautiful countryside – I want to visit!
I think it is so amazing that you take these awesome bike trips!! Your photos are just beautiful.
