Happy Cyber Monday everyone. We hope you all had your fair share of turkey and stuffing. We had a great time at Jordan’s, and I promise you that not one of her 16 guests left hungry. The leftovers have been eaten, and the decorations have been put away for another year, but we aren’t going to jump into Christmas just yet. We like to ease into it and will treat this last week of November as a rest period before our Christmas action begins. So, with that being said, let me share my latest little project with you.
I recently found a beautiful piece of material at a local fabric store and thought it would make two perfect throw pillows for the loveseat in our master bedroom. The colors blues, yellows, and rusty red along with the ecru matched the colors we have in the room.
I bought one yard, but unfortunately, I didn’t think my plan through. I had to center the large print on the two pillows so they would match, but that meant I would be losing a large amount of the fabric. Whomp, whomp. It looked as if I would only be making one, not two pillows.
Then I realized I could use part of a painter’s drop cloth that I had in my craft room for the pillow backs. The color was right, and so was the texture.
And in no time at all, I had made two cute paisley pillows.
