If you are a chocolate lover, this one is for you. If you are one of those brave people who gave up chocolate for Lent, you might want to wait a few days before reading any more. (That was your official spoiler alert!)
I am back after a wonderful trip to Belgium and Holland. While in Belgium, we visited the historic city of Bruges. And a visit to Bruges without sampling some of their world-famous chocolate would have been a major tourist mistake. Streets are lined with shops that sell every type of chocolate known to woman (and man). Since there is so much competition, their displays are perfect teasers to get tourists to come on in. With Easter right around the corner, the chocolate shops’ windows had every type of Easter bunny, chick, and flower they could possibly create. Enjoy these chocolate windows, and yes, the chocolate was just as good as it looks.
The packaging is so pretty that just a little something makes a big impression.
For a few euros, they offer foil-wrapped eggs. Buyers can get their fix without breaking the bank.
How many days would it take you to eat this white chocolate egg?
This place was crammed full of chocolate. Aren’t the bunnies adorable?
And here is chocolate stuffed with chocolate.
Since we are fans of monograms, we loved this egg. Thank goodness it didn’t have our monogram on it because I don’t think it would have fit in my luggage. Oh, wait. No problem. I could have eaten it right away.
Love the bow tie. He is dressed in his Easter finest.
This bad boy won’t wake you in the mornings.
These eggs show the differences in the white, dark, and milk chocolate.
Ahhhh. Chocolate wrapped in ribbons.
I hope you enjoyed the chocoholics’ dream stores as much as we did. Now, here is a question for you.
What is your favorite type of chocolate?
Cheers!

Hello! I am not a big fan of Chocolates but if they are presented that beautiful, how can i resist? I’m running out of adjectives to describe them. Among the chocolates, I love the white chicken and the one that came in ribbon. The pictures made me crave for a bar of chocolate now. 🙂

What a visual feast. I like dark chocolate. And chewy and nutty.

hi Ladies!
I adore chocolate and I would say milk chocolate is my favorite and it can coat almost anything from orange peels, apricots, coconut to pretzyls and that’s just fine with me!
I wanted to tell you I ran across another mom and daughter blog and just in case you have not linked up to them, here is the link:
