If you would like a custom look for your Christmas cards or the thank you notes that you send on a regular basis, then you might like one of these. It is an envelope liner template kit that you use to cut out liners for envelopes. Jordan bought it for me a couple of years ago because I liked hers so much.
You just select any type of wrapping paper or scrap book paper that you want, then get the template that will fit the envelope you are mailing. You can use bright and flashy paper or subdued paper. Any way you want to personalize your Christmas cards, thank you cards, sympathy and birthday cards is possible with a template kit.
First, you select the template that is the same size as the envelope you are using and choose the paper you want to use.
Trace around the template onto the paper.
Cut it out, and add some glue either with a glue stick or a glue gun to hold the paper in place. Then insert it into the envelope. You might notice that the template had a curved edge, but my envelope has a square edge. It works out okay anyway.
I priced lined envelopes in a few Christmas card catalogs that I have received, and this is a much better deal in the long run. We use it for more than just Christmas. Practically every note that I receive from Jordan has a special lining. If you don’t want one for yourself, perhaps someone on your Christmas list might enjoy it.
