Face oil provides many benefits to the look and condition of your skin.
I have been reading lately about face oil. According to the articles and blogs, there are many benefits to using face oil. Ancient Egyptians used face oils, and they are making a come-back now. What is face oil? It’s a very light oil. According to Good Housekeeping it does these things:
- It reduces wrinkles.
- It protects the skin.
- It’s good for dry skin.
- It’s a good primer for makeup.
- It can shrink enlarged pores.
- It can calm down rashes.
- It can help eliminate zits.
All of those reasons were good enough for me, and I learned that Arbonne, which I sell here, carries face oil. I purchased a bottle, and let me tell you that it has been a game changer. This is what Arbonne says about its oil: Instant illuminating glow! A sheer dry oil formula enhanced with ingredients that contain omega fattyacids 3 and 6 and a superantioxidant to help support luminous skin beauty. Like a superfood for your skin, this illuminating oil provides just the right amount of superior hydration and moisture where it’s needed most; improving the look of skin texture to help create a more radiant-looking, even-toned complexion
(Here I am after moisturizer and face oil but before foundation).
The biggest benefit that I am enjoying is that it is a great primer for my makeup. My makeup has never gone on so smoothly. And as much as I wanted to, I was never able to wear concealer successfully because it would clump up under my eyes and look bad.
I apply face oil twice a day – once in the morning after I have moisturized my face but before makeup and once in the evening after I have applied my night time moisturizer.
Living in heat controlled environments for months at a time is not good for our skin. So, now that it is March, and we have been mostly inside since autumn is showing on our skin. By applying just three drops of face oil in the morning and before bed can help with that. At least, it has helped me.
