Everyone knows what a fan I am of Skinnygirl Margaritas. They are the creation of reality star Bethenny Frankel who supposedly pocketed $120 million dollars when she sold the company. She was kept on with a yearly multi-million dollar retainer to serve as her brand’s consultant. (I got this info from a reliable company source).
So, anyhow, Bethenny has come out with a new libation called Skinnygirl Sangria. When I recently spent a week with my daughter/blog partner in Syracuse, we had a chance to sample/review the product.
Bethenny insisted on using a special bottle, imported from Mexico, at great expense to the company. But it retains the sleek up-town look that her brand represents.
My granddog Gracie even got in on the act posing with the unopened bottle.
We decided to add fruit to the sangria, just like we do when we make them from scratch.
Our opinion? It’s a winner!!! The drink is refreshing, tasty, non-sugary, and low-cal at 135 calories a serving. Jordan, Mr. Spring, and I all agree that Bethenny has another winner on her hands.
We weren’t paid to mention this product. We are just fans.
