Mr. Autumn works from home running his businesses. \u00a0He has a great office with a view of the park, but he really<\/em><\/span> works there. \u00a0He has files and papers that are in constant rotation on his desk. \u00a0It’s hard to make it look nice, but we added some vintage items that give it a little personality.<\/h3>\n

For instance, I bought this heat lamp – turned accent light – for a side table.<\/h3>\n

It has had quite a history and has the scars to prove it.<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I love the vintage, energy-efficient light bulb.<\/h3>\n

There are several pieces of old sheet music from World War I that are framed and hanging on the wall.<\/h3>\n

We found them in my grandfather’s barn after his death. \u00a0They were free and with the cute frames, they look very valuable.<\/h3>\n

A trunk that belonged to his grandfather is topped by a lamp that belonged to my grandfather. \u00a0The custom-made drapes add to the masculinity of the room.<\/h3>\n

Another vintage piece is this very old Hartford Insurance Company sign. \u00a0It is nearly a hundred years old.<\/h3>\n

It has lots of interesting details.<\/h3>\n

The Hartford home office wanted to buy it from him once upon a time, but he wanted to keep it.<\/h3>\n

This rocker belonged to Mr. Autumn’s grandfather, and the blanket was given to him when he was a college basketball player for West Virginia University. \u00a0We bought the rug in Turkey.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

He played NCAA Division 1 basketball in these Chuck Taylors. \u00a0I had one bronzed for him as a wedding gift years ago. \u00a0Shoe technology has really, really, changed.<\/h3>\n

Mr. Autumn likes his office and it’s a good thing because he spends many hours working really hard in there.<\/h3>\n
