Happy Monday. \u00a0I hope you all had a good week-end. \u00a0I spent a few days visiting \u00a0my parents and then spent time doing some deep cleaning here.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

I love to update different areas of our place and make them look seasonal. \u00a0I also like to use things I already own to make it even better. \u00a0I know that is a popular past-time for most of us in blogland. \u00a0When I gave our upstairs hallwa<\/a>y an equestrian look last year, it was definitely a look I loved. \u00a0However, it had a look that said fall to me.<\/h3>\n

I made a few minor changes to give the area a lighter look for spring. \u00a0The dresser stayed in its original spot.<\/h3>\n

I put Bucky out to pasture for the summer and replaced him with the wicker trunk that Jordan picked up at IKEA for me. \u00a0It is the only new thing I used for this redo.<\/h3>\n

I didn’t like the blank area above the trunk, so I decided to move an equestrian print from another part of the hallway to the empty space.<\/h3>\n

To make sure that I got the new print even, I used my Iphone level app to help me find the right place to put the nail. \u00a0If you haven’t downloaded this free app, I highly recommend it. \u00a0It really comes in handy.<\/h3>\n

Ahhhh, this is much better. \u00a0Both prints are horse-related. \u00a0The top one is a horse auction, and the bottom one is that popular hunting scene that many of us own.<\/h3>\n

I added a new plant in a cheerful planter and rustic colored pencils to the top of the dresser to brighten it up, and that’s all it took.<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, the area looks bright and fresh for spring. \u00a0I think I will add a long, narrow pillow to the top of the trunk to soften its look. \u00a0By the way, do you see the light in the mirror’s reflection? \u00a0That is our solar tube. \u00a0It adds tons of light to this windowless area.<\/h3>\n

Here is another look. \u00a0I still have a bench to add to another part of the hall, but I need to get some help to carry it up the stairs. \u00a0I’ll show it to you in a few days. \u00a0The solar tube is adding all of the light in this photo, too. \u00a0I love it!!! \u00a0If any of you have ever wondered it they work, I promise you that they do. \u00a0We have three here, and we had three in our last place.<\/h3>\n
