I love to share items that I find or that find me that are somewhat unique. \u00a0At least, I think they’re unique. \u00a0For instance, I told you about the fat-free measuring cup (here<\/a>) after I read about it in the New York Times<\/em>.<\/h3>\n

Recently, this bag arrived inside a surprise box. \u00a0It was a gift from my son’s girl friend, Josie. \u00a0She lives in Washington, DC and works near a shop called Capital Teas.<\/h3>\n

Josie knows how much I love tea, especially good tea, and she put this little surprise together for me. The bag held a tin of special blend mixed by Capital Teas.<\/h3>\n

The biggest surprise, though, was this Travel French Press. \u00a0How cool is that. \u00a0I didn’t know you could press tea, just like you press coffee. \u00a0On top of that, I didn’t know they were available in to go cups.<\/h3>\n

According to the directions, I add loose tea and then hot water, seal the lid and go. \u00a0After four minutes, press down on the plunger, and then I have \u00a0tea. (You follow the same procedure for coffee). \u00a0 It works just like any French press for the home. \u00a0Except I won’t be at home. \u00a0I’ll be out and about having fun and sippin’ on my favorite brew. \u00a0I love it. \u00a0Hello portable tea mug and good-bye Starbucks.<\/h3>\n
