Well, \u00a0we aren’t actually kids, but Mr. Autumn and I had a chance to go to an adorable candy store on our last trip to France.<\/h3>\n

We were high in the mountains in the village of Besse.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

It’s located eight miles from a ski resort and is loaded with charm.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

\u00a0We took an afternoon stroll to check out the shops. \u00a0I had been bitten by a dog on my leg the day before, and I needed to work out the soreness.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

This little candy store looked charming, and so, we went in.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

It was filled with all kinds of sweets.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

I was surprised that everything was within touching distance to its customers. \u00a0I guess their health department packaging\/display requirements aren’t as strict as they are in the USA.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

They had all kinds of chocolates – milk, dark, and white. \u00a0We bought some of each. \u00a0We needed the energy since we were on a three-week bicycling trip through France.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

This bowl of cherries is made of marzipan. \u00a0I know. \u00a0They do<\/em> look real.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

These candies are in different flavors.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This bowl of miniature potatoes is chocolate – kind of like malt balls.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The label let us know the “potatoes were grown<\/del> made in the region.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

These candies were tempting.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This packaging reminded me of tin lunch boxes.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

These “fruits” tasted like Peeps. \u00a0Yummy!!!<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Even the little chalk board signs were cute.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After we made our purchases, we continued our walk. \u00a0We had some calories to work off.<\/h3>\n
