Greetings! \u00a0Jordan hasn’t written much lately because she and Mr. Spring took a much needed ski vacation and are now finishing up a major home project. \u00a0She will have pictures to share next week. \u00a0You’ll be impressed. \u00a0I know I am.<\/h3>\n

When we decided to give a gift card to The Container Store, I took a good look at my own office and it wasn’t pretty.<\/h3>\n

My office is in the pantry, opposite the bake station. \u00a0Here is a quick shot of it looking its best. \u00a0You can take a complete tour of it\u00a0\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/h3>\n

This is what it looked like yesterday. \u00a0It wasn’t a pretty sight. \u00a0I was dealing with left over Christmas boxes and paper work, coupons, lists, and just stuff.<\/h3>\n

I didn’t have much in the cabinets, but what was there was a mess.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

The electronic mumbo-jumbo was just crammed onto a shelf. \u00a0The cabinet drawers didn’t look much better. \u00a0I’ll spare you photos of them.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

At least I had already put all of my cables and booklets in baggies and labeled them.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

See, I told you that organizing pays off. \u00a0This was hiding in the corner of one of the drawers. \u00a0Cha-ching!!!<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

After just a little over an hour, one cabinet looked like this. \u00a0I went paper-free on all of my banking last January, and so my files have very little in them. \u00a0That in itself is a huge way to eliminate stuff.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

All of the electronic crap<\/del>\u00a0items are now in a bin. \u00a0It still isn’t so neat, but at least everything is contained.<\/h3>\n

I put my Nano and point and shoot camera on a shelf \u00a0so I can grab them before heading out.<\/h3>\n
